♢ APPEARANCE: Risika has a slender, yet shapely build with snow white skin and deep blue scales. Her charcoal-colored and soft wisteria highlighted hair kisses her cheeks and bangs hide her sharp brows. Her supple lips are painted plum and she holds a fearless, piercing amethyst stare. She is dignified, carrying herself with esteem and poise. She is rather short and is keenly aware of it.
♢ PERSONALITY: Risika is deceivingly modest and reserved as an acquaintance. Guarded and cautious, care is taken to judge the trustworthiness and intent of those new to her. Many will find upon first impressions that Risika is very much a driven business woman.Risika is curious and surprisingly self-aware, she also feels particularly deeply about those held dear. With a tendency to privacy and choosing not to share much about her past, drawing information from her is like pulling teeth given the level of stubbornness she exudes towards nosiness. Unfortunately for Risika she incredibly transparent with her emotions and does not excel at concealing her feelings. Risika is confident; she recognizes her beauty and is unafraid to take advantage of it through the apparel she chooses to wear. She also has no qualms with openly admiring the beauty and attractiveness of others.Due to her upbringing she can be combative and aggressive; if faced with conflict she can be rude and a bit of a brat. Risika harbors a bloodlust she prefers to quell in privacy due to her efforts to appear far from a Dotharli. Not fearing nor shy away from a challenge, she understands the difference between calculated risk and suicide. Her belief is life to be valued, especially her own.

Background

From the union of a Dotharli female and a Kagoni male, Risika was born in the Azim Steppe to the Dotharl Tribe. In childhood she was a brilliant soul with a hunger for battle who adored tradition. Bearing strikingly pale skin with dark features Risika was seen as kissed by Nhaama; it was a blessing to be a visage of the Dusk Mother herself. She was assigned to the night guard and spent her time in the company of the moon and stars as a means to preserve her delicate complexion from the Steppe sun.

Upon reaching adulthood in Dotharl Khaa Risika's perspective shifted dramatically, growing bitter towards the Dotharli beliefs and her pre-determined identity. A deep personal loss as a result of her own negligence left a gaping hole in her soul, triggering an identity crisis. Years crept by and Risika lost faith in tradition which developed to resentment, inciting emotionally destructive behavior between herself and her tribe.

Risika felt no purpose in the Steppe; She was tied to the past, without individuality, and wanted to escape the emotional shackles tormenting her. Understanding from her tribe leaned to non-existent and in response she left to find new meaning. Indignation is felt for her life in the Azim Steppe and she has learned to admire all that differs from her old home in order to silence her grief.

With considerable effort Risika has distanced herself from her past life, renouncing her Dotharli ways and beginning a new journey. An upscale tailoring studio aptly named Maven of the Thread was quietly opened in Lily Hills Apartments where she has passionately taken on the aspiration of making a name for herself as a prominent seamstress. Lonely and without connections, she has a long road ahead of herself before fulfilling her dreams.

Risika finds herself most comfortable and attracted to her own race, she is fascinated by Raen and Xaela alike for their differences to the Dotharl and their individuality. Due to her less than amicable parting her fellow Dotharli remain at arms length.

Risika respects a challenge and a good fight. Addicted to conflict, Risika can't resist getting herself baited into a dispute. As much as she attempts to play it down, old habits die hard and she sure loves fighting. Risika will quietly take on hunts as supplemental income and to sate the need to release her bundled up emotions that creep in every so often. As dainty as she appears, Risika can take a beating and come back for more.

Risika's studies into tailoring brings her to spend time often at the Phenomenon in Old Sharlayan advancing her knowledge and skill. Networking with fellow tradesman is always ideal and mutually beneficial, she would never pass up the opportunity for an associate. Utilizing her tailoring studio, Risika uses the space for professional weaving work and will extend an invitation to potential clients for a consultation, often targeting influential figures of wealth, prominence, and power.

Extremely driven in her new calling, Risika is often seeking new materials to hone her skill. Occasionally she will hire protection in her travels for materials so she may give her undivided attention to the cultivation of delicate ingredients.

Not all of Risika's Dotharli kinsmen were joyous to watch the collapse of her faith in their beliefs and subsequent exile. Desperate for "Sarangerel" to return, a particular Dotharli has taken it upon himself to place a modest bounty upon Risika's head for his 'mislead Nhaama' to be returned to him.
